VBS Day 1

Today was the first day of Vacation Bible School and it was the best. I am doing the crafts all week. Today was making the tablets for the Ten Commandments.

Supplies:
A small handful of clay
1 toothpick
A square of wax paper

First roll the small handful of clay into a small ball.  After you have a ball, flatten it out on the wax paper. You don't want it too thick or too thin. Gently tap 3 of the side on the table so they are flat. Leave the top rounded. With the toothpick draw a line down the middle but don't go all the way through the clay. On the top left hand side write the number 10 and on the right hand side write the word Laws. Once that is done write the numbers 1-5 under the number 10. Write numbers 6-10 under the word Laws. Since it is small there is not a way to actually write out each Commandment. All that is left is to let it air dry.
